Shipping information

1. Order information

All laces on veters.nl are sold per pair as standard. If you order one, you will receive two laces (1 pair), unless otherwise stated with the product.

There are a few exceptions:

  • Zipper pullers are sold individually
  • We sell leather from the roll in one piece, in the desired length
  • "Per meter" laces are also sold as one continuous piece

For each product it is clearly stated whether there is a deviation from this. All prices are including VAT and excluding shipping costs.

2. Payment Methods

Your order will be final once payment has been successfully completed.
At veters.nl you can pay safely and easily using the following payment methods:

  • iDeal
  • Bancontact
  • PayPal
  • Transfer in advance - NL89 INGB 0000 2224 88 in the name of Dé Veterwinkel

The payment environment is provided via a secure connection through our partner Shopify.

3. Shipping information

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. This email contains your order number, the products you selected and the address details you provided.
Please check this information carefully – if there are any errors in your delivery address, we are not liable for the incorrect delivery of your package.

Orders paid on working days before 3:00 PM will be shipped the same day, provided all items are in stock.
If you place an order after 3:00 PM, during the weekend or on a holiday, it will be processed and shipped the next business day.

We ship all our orders via PostNL . You will receive a shipping confirmation as soon as the package leaves our warehouse.

4. Shipping costs

We charge the following shipping costs:

  • Netherlands : €2.95
  • International : €4.95
  • Switzerland & United Kingdom : €5.95

Shipping costs are transparent and clearly stated during checkout.

5. Why we don't offer 'free' shipping

We consciously choose not to offer free shipping, and we would like to explain why.
Many webshops already include the shipping price in the product price. That seems attractive, but in reality you often pay unnecessary double costs for multiple products.

We prefer to keep it fair. With us, you pay a low price for the product itself, and a separate, fair fee for shipping. This way, you are often better off with multiple items.

To show you where the shipping costs come from, we give you an example below - shipping within the Netherlands €2.95:

  • VAT on these costs: €0.52
  • PostNL rate: €1.21 - €1.78
  • iDeal transaction costs: €0.29
  • other costs (envelope, label, etc.): ± €0.15

For larger orders (e.g. 3 pairs of laces) the PostNL rate already increases to €2.19. Then only a few cents remain for packaging.
That is why we prefer to charge a small, fixed contribution instead of hiding these costs in the product price.
